In a recent interview with Phoenix New Times, singer Ke$ha reveals that her compassion for animals includes a meat-free diet.

When asked why she adopted a vegetarian diet, the pop sensation replied, “I just love animals, and I’m an advocate for animals rights, and my family has rescued dogs from all over the world. I don’t believe in animal testing. If you see me in fur, it’s always fake. Sometimes you see me wearing skulls, but those are all from roadkill.”

Def Leppard lead guitarist Phil Collen is giving marriage yet another go.

Despite finalising his divorce from second wife Anita just nine days before, rocker Phil, 52, tied the knot with costume designer Helen L. Simmons, 42, on the beach at a Florida resort in a sunset ceremony on Friday.

Guests received guitar picks bearing the lovers’ names, before choosing from organic vegetarian and vegan menu options. Phil himself has not eaten meat for 27 years.

Alex Reid To Go Veggie For Pet Pig

Alex Reid is considering becoming a vegetarian after he and wife Katie Price were given a pet pig who he has fallen in love with.

The cage-fighter is so in love with his new pig Bingle he is considering giving up meat because he now feels “guilty” eating it.

He explained: “I am very attached to Bingle and have even given up eating pork because it was making me feel so guilty.

“I might even go the whole hog and turn vegetarian. Ha ha!

“Bingle has made me appreciate pigs more - they are so intelligent.

“Two of our friends bought him for us as a wedding present - they are the trendy thing to own now.”

Jessica Simpson went vegan over the weekend

Over the weekend, Jessica Simpson, tweeted about trying a vegan diet.

She said:

“Shocked my system with a vegan diet, special Pu-erh tea from China, and cupping since friday! Who am I right now? This might be too clean!”

She then explained that she had worked with “Master Wang the healer” over the weekend, adding links to MedicineBuddha.com and Zenandtea.com.

Simpson then explained: “Just so everyone is clear.. this has NOTHING to do with weight! It is about understanding my body through hydration and alkalinty.”

I wonder how long it will be until she’s seen out in her Real Girls Eat Meat shirt again? Only time will tell I guess.

Ozzy Osbourne claims to be vegetarian

Ozzy made the claim in his new column for The Sunday Times.

“I’ve pretty much become a vegetarian. Seriously. It’s my new phase: brown rice and vegetables. I don’t even drink milk, apart from a splash in my tea,” the 61-year-old said.

He added: “It ain’t because of the animals. I mean, I used to work in a slaughterhouse. You won’t see me marching over the frozen tundra, hunting down people who club seals. I just can’t digest meat any more.”

Tiffany Amber Thiessen tells OK! that she is putting her vegetarian days on hold.

“Sadly I was a vegetarian for so many years and I’ve been craving meat, which I hate to say because I’m such a huge supporter of not doing that,” Tiffany told OK MAGAZINE.

Expecting her first child in May with husband Brady Smith, Tiffani knows that what the baby wants, the baby gets.

“I feel like I guess this little one is wanting a lot of red meat,” Tifanni gushes in NYC.
